FAQS

How does laser tattoo removal work?

The Laser produces an intense burst of laser energy to target the pigment located in the ink. The light is absorbed and causes the ink to shatter the particles then your body carries them away.

Who is suitable for laser tattoo removal?

Our laser can treat black and red pigments and can treat all skin types. During our consultation we will find out more about your skin tone, medical history and lifestyle to make sure the treatment is right for you.

What should I expect to feel during/after my laser tattoo removal treatment?

During your treatment, discomfort is to be expected but this will be discussed with you in your consultation. Levels of discomfort vary dependent on your threshold for pain and everyone will experience pain from the laser treatment differently. After your treatment you may experience a little discomfort and some mild side effects i.e. the sensation of sunburn. All of this will be covered in your consultation.

How many laser tattoo removal treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required will vary and are dependent on each individual. This is why it is important to gain as much information during your consultation so you know what to expect.
